These cosmetic categories are included in the key random inspection

ECHEMI 2020-04-30

Recently, with the alleviation of the epidemic, the provincial and municipal regulatory authorities across the country have successively released the cosmetics sampling inspection plan for 2020. This year, the regulatory authorities focused on 11 major categories of cosmetics sampling tasks. And two major categories of lip makeup.

"The frequency of random inspections will increase this year, and it will spread throughout the entire category." The relevant person in charge of the Hubei Provincial Drug Administration said. The relevant person in charge of the Guangdong Cosmetics Quality Management Association also said that the current cosmetic sampling is divided into special sampling and daily supervision sampling. The special sampling is to conduct unified sampling for certain outstanding products, and the daily supervision sampling is focused on higher risks. Types such as sunscreen, dyed perm, facial mask, freckle and whitening, etc. are subject to random inspection.

Obviously, whether it is the increased frequency of random inspections or the addition of two key categories of lip makeup and hair growth products, it means that the cosmetics market supervision will be tightened this year.

Some people in the industry warned that this year's anti-killing products due to the high epidemic situation may also become one of the key random inspection categories in the second half of the regulatory department. "

Non-special skin care products are eyeed, and products that claim to be moisturizing / firming anti-wrinkle are paid attention to

By searching the official website of the provincial and municipal regulatory authorities, it is found that from Guangxi, Zhejiang, Qinghai and other regions that have announced the sampling batches planned for this year, their plans for this year have increased to varying degrees compared to last year. About 715 batches were added.

At the same time, the five key categories of hair dyeing and perm, sunscreen, freckles and whitening, skin care, facial mask, etc. have been integrated in the past years of the supervision of local drug regulatory departments. They have been the "regular customers" of various unqualified cosmetics black lists, and this year is still no exception. .

In the first quarter of this year, hair dye and perm products became the "severe disaster areas" of unqualified products. According to the data released by the official website of the State Food and Drug Administration, a total of 270 batches of unqualified products were sampled nationwide in the first quarter of this year, of which 239 batches were unqualified products for hair dyeing and perming, accounting for up to 88.5%; 10 batches were unqualified products for masks Times, accounting for 3.7%; 6 batches of unqualified products for skin care (non-mask), accounting for 1.6%; 5 batches of unqualified products for sunscreen, accounting for 1.5%.
