Google data: more than 10 kinds of cosmetic raw materials search volume increase
Recently, consumer data intelligence company Spate used machine intelligence and Google's data analysis tool-Google Analytics to determine the trend of cosmetic ingredients since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus epidemic. The company's co-founder Yarden Horwitz in the recent Association of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) These contents were shared in the webinar.
Horwitz explained how to interpret these data, and divided the trends into: continuous rising (the upward trend is slow and stable), seasonal rising (unstable, but the overall upward trend), Nova (rapidly rising). In contrast, there are continuous declines, seasonal declines, and falling meteors.
She revealed that since the outbreak of the new coronavirus, the search volume of various ingredients has increased significantly and can be classified as nova, including ethanol, carbomer, chloroxylenol, thymol, propolis, aloe, peroxide, elderberry, Zinc citrate, oregano, black seeds, ginger, burdock root and bovine hemoglobin.
