Wellgrove joins hands with BuyNaturals to push olive leaf supplements
Australian e-commerce platform BuyNatural is working with local olive leaf supplement supplier Wellgrove Health to provide a series of immune-enhancing supplements for the domestic and Chinese markets to meet the growing market demand.
Beacon is a subsidiary of Reach Group, which focuses on assisting Australian companies to promote and sell products in local and overseas markets (especially China).
The BuyNatural Company website listed 10 products of Wellgrove last month, ranging from capsules to liquid oral supplements of various flavors. The key active ingredient in these products is olefresh (an olive leaf extract extracted using a proprietary method), which is said to reduce the formation of free radicals in the body and has been used in traditional Western herbs to relieve cold and flu symptoms And support the immune system.
According to a study published in the Journal of Nutrition last year, researchers from New Zealand conducted a randomized controlled trial on 32 high school students. The experiment found that olive leaf extract can shorten the duration of upper respiratory infections.
Dr. Mathew McDougall, founder of Reach Group, said that since the COVID-19 new coronavirus became popular in Australia in late February, Australian consumers have become increasingly interested in immune-enhancing products.
McDougall said that the shortage of certain products and the interruption of the supply chain have had a ripple effect on product delivery. But at the same time, it said that the olive leaf extract supplement did not have any supply problems, and the company has sufficient inventory to support rapid delivery.
McDougall said that since most Australians work from home, all e-commerce platforms are in a stage of massive growth. Driven by sales of health products, the number of online orders in the company's website increased by 300% to 400% year-on-year in the first quarter; and it is predicted that with the joint promotion of sales of health and health products, the growth in the next quarter is expected to reach 200%.
