China丨Bayer built a new supply center in China with an investment of ¥ 300 million
Over the years, Bayer has been developing in China. On Nov 5, Bayer signed an investment agreement with the government of Hangzhou at the CIIE site to build a new supply center with an investment of ¥ 300 million. The establishment of this project marks the continuous development of Bayer in China, the transformation from an exhibitor to an investor at the CIIF, is expected to achieve a win-win situation with Hangzhou.
According to the investment agreement, the new supply center of Bayer will be mainly engaged in the production and packaging of a variety of fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, ES, PGR and other formulations. Compared with the existing supply center, the production capacity will be further improved, equipped with formulation packaging facilities, the application of advanced automation, digital technology and perfect integrated management system.
Dr. Gao, Vice President of Bayer China, said, “This year marks the fifth time for Bayer to participate in the CIIE. And Bayer will fully show its innovative achievements in various fields and its repeated commitment to China. As one of the three engines of Bayer, Bayer Cropscience focuses on plant protection, seed industry, biotechnology and digital agriculture. It takes the realization of food security and earth security as the development goal of the company and advocates the long-term and sustainable development of human agriculture. Today's signing is just the beginning. In the future, Bayer will try to better serve the sustainable development of Chinese agriculture, based in Qiangtang Hangzhou."
