Alkylated Oil Prices Declined Under Sales Pressure
The trading activity in the gasoline market dropped, thus the demand for alkylated oil underperformed. On January 29, 2018, the mainstream prices of alkylated oil in northern China were RMB 6,150-6,200/mt, and most downstream users held wait-and-see sentiment towards the alkylated oil marke. In southern China, the mainstream prices of alkylated oil were RMB 5,950-6,300/mt, and the overall trading atmosphere was average.
The overall demand for alkylated oil will remain average, and the sales of alkylated oil will be relatively poor. Therefore, SCI predicts that China’s alkylated oil prices will drop to some extent in the short term.
