Hengli Petrochemical to Build Ethylene Project, Including Two MEG Units
Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co., Ltd. plans to invest 20.978 billion yuan to set up 1.5 million mt/year ethylene project in Dalian, Liaoning province, its parent company Hengli Incorporation announced on February 27, 2018. The unit is targeted to be built in two years.
The project will include a steam cracker and 12 downstream units, including two 900kt/year-monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit with total MEG capacity of 1.8 million mt/year.
