Israeli ingredient and fine chemical product supplier Gadot Biochemical Industries recently announced that after successfully launching Chewable Zinc Citrate and Gado-Go, the company is expanding the application of magnesium citrate ingredients.

Ohad Cohen, CEO of Gadot Biochemicals, said: "We are considering expanding the application of magnesium citrate, focusing on the sedative effect of magnesium."

Some published studies have shown that magnesium can regulate the neurotransmitter GABA, which may help relax the body and mind, and get adequate night sleep.

Cohen pointed out that compared with other forms, the absorption of magnesium citrate does not affect gastric acid secretion, so it does not cause stomach discomfort and can be taken on an empty stomach. In addition, compared with magnesium lactate, magnesium carbonate and magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate has a neutral taste and can be easily added to a variety of formulas.
