Silver nitrate is not approved in the EU for use in bactericidal products of product type 7
According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on December 23, 2022, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) 202/2570, which does not approve silver nitrate as an active substance in product type 7 bactericidal products.
This regulation shall enter into force twenty days after its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
