Ningbo Fude 200,000 tons/year ethylene oxide project acceptance publicity

On December 22, Ningbo Fude Energy Co., Ltd. publicized the annual output of 200,000 tons of ethylene oxide refining system optimization and upgrade project completion environmental protection acceptance report.

Project name: Annual output of 200,000 tons of ethylene oxide refining system optimization and upgrading project;

Construction unit: Ningbo Fude Energy Co., LTD.

Construction site: No. 699 Haicheng Road, Ningbo Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhenhai (District), Ningbo City;

Nature of construction: reconstruction and expansion;

Investment amount: The total investment of the project is about 34.5 million yuan;

Contents of project construction:

Under the condition that the front part of the plant (EO reaction unit) does not expand, the capacity of the downstream EO refining unit can be expanded from the current 50,000 tons/year to 200,000 tons EO/ year (25t/h). At this point, the ethylene glycol capacity of the downstream EG production unit is reduced to 230,17 MT EG/ yr (the unit is running at about 50% load). The total production capacity of EO and ethylene glycol of the whole device is 430,170 tons/year, lower than the actual total production capacity of the original operating condition 2 (482,000 tons/year: 50,000 tons of EO and 432,000 tons EG), and within the range of the total production capacity approved by the original EIA.

This time, the capacity of EO refining system is expanded and reformed. After the transformation, the capacity of EO reaches 200,000 tons/year (25t/h). In this transformation, only the capacity of EO refining unit is expanded. Other units of the glycol device are not involved.
