The EU modifies Clostridium butyrate FERM BP-2789 as a condition for the authorization of feed additives for fattening chickens, laying hens and small poultry
On February 2023, 2, according to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), at the request of the European Commission, the EU Animal Feed Additives and Products (FEEDAP) Research Group modified Clostridium butyrinate FERM BP-9 as fattening chickens, laying hens and small chickens Scientific opinion on the conditions for the authorization of feed additives for poultry (excluding laying hens).
