Air Liquide Doubles Its Biomethane Production Capacity
自2018年初以来，液化空气集团已在美国，法国和英国委托三个新的生物沼气生产装置。利用这些装置，液化空气集团的生物甲烷生产能力翻了一番，目前其生产能力为60兆瓦，相当于全年生产的500吉瓦时。
在过去四年中，集团已投资约1亿欧元投资生物甲烷生产。今天，集团在全球运营10个生产装置，旨在净化沼气，将其转化为生物沼气并注入天然气网络。
美国新的生物甲烷生产装置位于东北密西西比垃圾填埋场（NEML）。这是美国液化空气集团在美国建立的第一个大型机组。它净化了生活垃圾处理场所产生的沼气，并将其转化为生物甲烷。在欧洲，这些单元从农场废物中提纯沼气并将其转化为生物甲烷。部分生物甲烷用于生物NGV（车用天然气）燃料的卡车，这是一种清洁的非化石燃料，没有微粒排放。液化空气集团已经开发出涵盖整个生物甲烷价值链的技术和专业知识：净化沼气，将其转化为生物甲烷，与当地企业合作注入天然气网络，液化，分销由生物NGV推动的清洁车队。
