India has initiated anti-dumping investigation against polyether polyols from China and Thailand
On 29 March 2023, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that in response to an application submitted on behalf of the industry by Manali Petrochemicals Ltd, an Indian domestic company, Anti-dumping investigation on Flexible Slabstock Polyol with molecular weight of 3000-4000 originating in or imported from China and Thailand has been initiated.
The dumping investigation period established in this investigation is from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 (12 months), and the industry injury investigation period is from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022. The investigation involves products under different sub-categories of Indian Customs Code 3907 20, 3907 29, 3907 99 etc. The interested party shall register its response within 30 days from the date of the announcement.
