BioMap and Sanofi Forge Groundbreaking Strategic Partnership in AI-driven Drug Development
BioMap, a leading company in the field of life sciences, has announced a breakthrough strategic partnership with Sanofi aimed at jointly developing artificial intelligence (AI) models to accelerate the research and development of biotherapeutic drugs. In June of this year, Sanofi announced its "All in" strategy for AI and data science, with the aim of becoming the first pharmaceutical company driven on a large scale by AI. Through the partnership with BioMap, Sanofi will harness the power of BioMap's AI Foundation Model, along with its proprietary data, protein engineering innovation, and expertise in biologics development, to jointly create state-of-the-art protein language models and AI task models. These models will optimize the process of discovering and developing biotherapeutic drugs [1].
