Recently, Chongqing Yongyuansheng Technology Co., Ltd. announced the environmental impact report of the 1,500 tons/year Kung Fu acid project for the chlorine-containing aromatic series fine chemical product project. The company Chongqing Yongyuansheng Technology Co., Ltd. is a joint venture formed by Zhejiang Yongtai Technology Co., Ltd. (51%), Chongqing Tianyuan Chemical Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Sanyuan Industrial Co., Ltd. Chongqing Yongyuansheng Technology plans to use the original dicamba plant area to rebuild a kungfu acid production line, build a new Class A warehouse and rebuild a storage tank area in the existing plant area. The main raw materials are methyl bentine acid, 1,1,1-trifluorotrichloroethane, sodium tert-butoxide, liquid caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, etc., through production processes such as addition, cyclization, saponification, acidification and refining. Kungfu acid products will produce 1,500 tons of kungfu acid annually and 281.5t of by-product tert-Butanol. Dicamba will no longer be produced. Kungfu acid is an important intermediate of high-efficiency cyhalothrin, bifenthrin, tefluthrin and other pyrethroids.

The construction site of the project is located in Chenjiaba, Baitao Chemical Park, Fuling District, Chongqing. The total investment is 10.03 million yuan, of which the total investment in environmental protection is estimated to be 5.04 million yuan, accounting for 5.04% of the total investment.
