Apoena Biotech Forges Alliance with Greenact for Biotech Cosmetics Solutions
Apoena Biotech has unveiled its strategic partnership with the Brazilian distributor, Greenact, paving the way for the provision of cutting-edge biotechnological solutions to the cosmetics sector.

The initial distribution strategy includes three product launches showcased at in-cosmetics Global and NYSCC Suppliers’ Day this year.
This collaboration marks the launch of an initial distribution strategy encompassing three product releases that debuted at in-cosmetics Global and NYSCC Suppliers' Day earlier this year. These products, introduced to the market, comprise:
1. Ramnocare(INCI: Not Provided)
A multifaceted biosurfactant endowed with antioxidant properties and skin protection capabilities. Designed to be gentle on sensitive skin, it offers hydration and fosters the formation of a protective barrier. Moreover, it serves as a valuable ingredient in formulations for soap, shampoo, and makeup removers.
2. APOBIO Skin(INCI: Not Provided)
A postbiotic active agent boasting pro-aging effects, effectively smoothing, firming, and hydrating the skin. In vitro tests have affirmed a remarkable 53% surge in hyaluronic acid synthesis. The ingredient leverages the power of fermented astragalus membranaceus and simulates a retinol-like impact.
3. APOBIO Slim (INCI: Not Provided)
Another postbiotic active, manufactured by lactobacillus, exhibits anti-cellulite properties and safeguards the skin's natural barrier. This ingredient triggers a 45% boost in the lipolysis process, promoting fat burning within cells and mitigating cellulite. Its efficacy aligns with that of caffeine.
The distributor's robust presence in the national market is anticipated to expedite the introduction of biotech products to consumers. Furthermore, the collaboration is poised to advance and establish bioprocesses within the cosmetics, toiletries, and fragrances sectors.
Patricia Mendes, head of marketing at Apoena Biotech, remarked, "We firmly believe that the future of the personal care and cosmetics industry is intrinsically linked to our ability to innovate sustainably. In our quest for strategic alliances, we seek partners who share our profound commitment to advancing a sustainable and healthier world. Greenact wholeheartedly embraces this commitment, making it an ideal collaborator."
