There are currently 84 chemical industrial parks in Shandong Province. As the chemical industry accelerates its new and old momentum and the pace of transformation and upgrading, the lack of land resources, environmental carrying capacity and other resource factors in some parks restricts the development of enterprises, and there is a strong desire to expand the area and capacity of chemical industrial parks. In October last year, the "Shandong Province Chemical Industry Park Expansion Management Measures (Trial)" was announced to guide chemical industry parks in need to implement area expansion. Since this year, Shandong has completed the optimization and adjustment of chemical industry parks such as Binzhou Lubei Chemical Industrial Park and Dezhou Canal Hengsheng Chemical Industrial Park, providing strong carrier support for the development of the local chemical industry.
