Maroon, Addipel Achieve ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Maroon Group said two of its operating companies, Maroon and Addipel, achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification from the Management Certification of North America (MCNA).
Maroon, a specialty chemicals distributor of additives, resins, pigments, and packaging, earned this accreditation for its Avon, Ohio facility. Addipel, a manufacturer of custom blends, 100 percent active non-dust blends, and repackaging, earned this accreditation for its manufacturing facility in Avon Lake, Ohio.
MCNA determined that Maroon’s and Addipel’s quality management systems meet customer requirements, and its employees demonstrate a clear commitment to the success and sustainability of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard. The standards are documented by ISO and provide requirements, specifications, guidelines, or characteristics used consistently to ensure materials, products, processes, and services are fit for their purpose.
“With continuous improvement and constant change, Maroon Group continues to excel to our customers’ needs and expectations,” said Dave Higgins, director of logistics and EHS for Maroon Group. “ISO 9001:2015 now brings us to a higher level of quality as our leadership evaluates risk and opportunity to consistently provide products and services that meet the customers’ requirements.”
