The Prices of China's Chemical Products Fell More Than They Rose In Mid-November
On November 24, the National Bureau of Statistics of China released the "Market Price Changes in Important Production Materials in the Circulation Sector in Mid-November 2023."
Among the 10 main chemical products in the statistics, the prices of 7 products fell and the prices of 3 products increased.
Among them, the price of sulfuric acid (98%) fell by 0.1%; the price of pure benzene (petroleum benzene, industrial grade) fell by 0.3%; the price of styrene (first-grade product) fell by 0.2%; the price of polyethylene (LLDPE, melt index 2 film material) fell by 0.5%; the price of polypropylene (drawn material) fell by 0.2%; the price of polyvinyl chloride (SG5) fell by 1.1%; the price of butadiene rubber (BR9000) fell by 3.6%; the price of polyester filament rose by 0.9%; the price of liquid alkali rose by 1.3%; methanol prices rose 0.1%.
