Romanian Cosmetics Manufacturer Launches AI-Powered Skin Scanning App with Belgian Partner
According to romania-insider news on December 28, Newpharma Romania, a subsidiary of the Belgian group that applies artificial intelligence and digital technology in the pharmaceutical field, has established a partnership with Romanian cosmetics manufacturer Farmec Cluj Napoca to provide customers with personalized services through skin scanning applications.
It is reported that through the above-mentioned application, users can assess the condition of their skin and get personalized recommendations from a product catalog, which includes the product portfolio of cosmetics manufacturer Farmec.
Razvan Vlasin, Chief Information Officer of Newpharma Group, said: “Innovation and technology will become fundamental elements of health management and we see this initiative as a first step in that direction, providing people with the necessary tools to improve their skin care efficiency.”
According to Newpharma, the pilot project based on artificial intelligence technology will launch in Romania in the spring of 2024.
