Agrocete Unveils 'Triple Action' Bioformulation, Boosting Crop Yields by 27%

In a recent showcase at Expodireto 2024, one of the world's largest agricultural expos, Agrocete, a multinational company based in Brazil, presented its innovative bioinoculant called NOD PHOS, which promotes nitrogen fixation, plant growth, and phosphorus solubilization. Alongside NOD PHOS, Agrocete also showcased other products aimed at enhancing crop productivity. Collaborative research between Agrocete and the University of Western Paraná (Unioeste) confirmed that NOD PHOS significantly enhances crop yields. The study focused on soybean production and compared the yields of crops treated with NOD PHOS against those without any seed inoculant, while using only 50% of the recommended phosphorus dosage.

In addition to NOD PHOS, Agrocete also unveiled two other noteworthy products at the expo, namely Breed PRO and Field PRO. Application studies conducted during the previous planting season revealed that these products increased productivity by 6.61%, which is a significant achievement sought after by farmers. Evaluations carried out in sugarcane commercial cultivation areas in São Paulo state, Brazil, showcased a 9.6% increase in plant height and a 31.2% increase in tiller count. Similarly, soybean cultivation assessments conducted in the regions of Minas Gerais and Goiás states demonstrated a 6.7% increase in plant density, a 6.5% increase in plant height, and a 22% increase in pod count per plant. Research conducted since the 2021/22 planting season has shown positive results in terms of productivity in 86.95% of the soybean fields treated with Breed PRO and Field PRO.

Agrocete's exhibition booth also introduced the concept of "Productivity Building," which aims to help producers maximize their ideal production potential. This proposal divides the crop cycle into three key pillars: "Planting, Vitality, and Root System," "Initial Stage and Robust Growth," and "Application Techniques." Agrocete's goal is to enable soybean producers to achieve a productivity rate of 100 bags per hectare.
