Impressive Growth of Innovative Products:

Notably, the company obtained regulatory approvals for eight indications across six innovative drugs, including Hansuo (Sulurituzumab Injection), Hanquyou (Sintilimab Injection), and Sukexin (Afatinib Maleate Tablets). Hansuo, an innovative biological drug developed by Fosun Pharma, received regulatory approval for the treatment of extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) in China. It became the world's first PD-1 monoclonal antibody approved for first-line treatment of ES-SCLC. To date, Hansuo has been approved for four indications in China and has benefited over 60,000 Chinese patients. Additionally, Fosun Pharma's joint venture company, Fosun Kite, obtained regulatory approval for the second-line indication of Yikaida (Axicabtagene Ciloleucel Injection), a CAR-T cell therapy product. This approval expanded the treatment options for frontline immunotherapy-resistant or relapsed patients. Yikaida has already benefited over 600 lymphoma patients and has been included in more than 100 provincial and commercial insurance programs, with treatment centers spanning across 25 provinces and over 160 facilities.
Optimized Research and Development (R&D) and Pipeline Advancements:
Fosun Pharma continues to enhance its R&D system, strategically focusing on small molecules, antibodies/ADCs, RNA, and cell therapies. By establishing an open and globalized innovation ecosystem, the company aims to explore cutting-edge technologies such as tumor vaccines and AI drug development. Fosun Pharma's commitment to R&D is evident through its investment of 5.937 billion yuan in 2023, with R&D expenses amounting to 4.346 billion yuan. The pharmaceutical business accounted for 5.172 billion yuan of the R&D investment, primarily dedicated to over 70 innovative drug and biosimilar projects (based on indications). During the reporting period, Fosun Pharma successfully progressed five products with seven indications through independent R&D, collaborative development, and licensing agreements, reaching the pre-approval stage.
