Quantix acquires CLX Logistics
Quantix SCS, a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners and a leading supply chain services company for the chemical industry in North America, announced the acquisition of CLX Logistics.
With more than 25 years of history, CLX Logistics provides transportation management systems, managed services, supply chain consulting, brokerage, liquid bulk 3PL, intermodal, rail, international services and industry-leading technology and analytics products to customers in North America and Europe. CLX Logistics handles $500 million worth of freight annually.
Together, Quantix and CLX Logistics form a platform with more than $2 billion in logistics spend, approximately 5,400 owned assets, more than 40 distribution centers and rail terminals, and 3,300 partnered carrier relationships. The acquisition will expand Quantix's presence in the North American and European markets, making the combined company one of the largest providers in the nearly $100 billion global chemical supply chain logistics market.
