Notably, the company obtained regulatory approval for the domestically produced Liraglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist, for both diabetes and weight management indications. Furthermore, their orally administered small molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist, HDM1002, received dual IND approvals from China and the United States, demonstrating the company's commitment to advancing treatments for diabetes and obesity.

The company submitted an IND application for HDM2005, its first internally developed ADC project for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and hematological malignancies. Additionally, the company initiated IND studies for HDM2006, a small molecule anticancer drug and the first HPK-1 PROTAC (Hematopoietic progenitor kinase 1 protein degrader) developed in-house. Huadong Medicine also secured the rights to market ELAHERE®, a first-in-class ADC therapy for ovarian cancer, further enriching its oncology product portfolio.
