Mexico's Smart AgroFresh opens a new chapter in Chinese agriculture with SmartGenX technology

Smart AgroFresh S.A.d. C.V. is an agricultural company headquartered in the state of Sonora, Mexico. The company's core competence stems from its unique SmartGenX technology. This technology is based on an aloe vera extract native to Mexico, developing a range of efficient and environmentally friendly agricultural products. Aloe vera extract is rich in a variety of active ingredients, including the unique polyphenols anthraquinone and chromones, which significantly enhance the crop's stress resistance and improve its ability to grow in adverse environments. All three companies have received investment backing from angel investment firm KARL.CO, forming a strong technology and funding alliance.
