Atticus launches a wide range of products in the United States, including Beta-cyfluthrin, Flonicamid, and Paclobutrazol

2024-07-26

Atticus, Inc., recently announced the addition of Cryptoid™ XL (Active Ingredient: Beta-cyfluthrin) to its crop protection portfolio, providing distributors and growers with new insecticides for the U.S. crop and specialty agriculture markets.

Cryptoid XL (comparable to Baythroid XL) is a pyrethroid insecticide that has a wide range of applications for rapid knockdown and long-lasting control of more than 100 unique pests and has been approved for use on select crops such as citrus, corn, soybeans, cotton and wheat. Effective against cotton bollworms, armyworms and bedbugs and other pests. Cryptoid XL works through contact and ingestion, and requires only a low use rate to effectively control it. In addition, the product's easy-to-use cream formulation makes it a flexible and user-friendly tool.

Atticus also announced the addition of three new products to its EcoCore greenhouse and nursery portfolio: Berati™ 10 XC, a plant growth regulator containing Paclobutrazol for Piccolo 10 XC; Hexcel™ EW, an insecticide containing Hexythiazox for Hexygon IQ; Airaxo™, an insecticide containing Flonicamid, is used in Aria.

Berati™ 10 XC, with its highly concentrated formulation, provides 10 times the power of the traditional 0.4% Paclobutrazol standard formulation, enabling greenhouse and nursery professionals to achieve compact and uniform plant growth.

Hexcel™ EW has excellent control over leaf mites in ornamental plants, especially in eggs and immature pests. The product is formulated with a water emulsion, which provides users with a convenient and friendly experience.

Airaxo™ rapidly controls stinging insects through contact and ingestion, provides long-lasting residual control, and is an ideal alternative or rotation option due to no known cross-resistance to other insecticides.
