The First Phase of Toray Resin Technology Has Been Completed Successfully, with a 400 Million Yuan Investment, and the Countdown to Completion by the End of September Has Begun!
Recently, the main structure of the first phase of Toray Resin Science's project has been completed, marking an important milestone in the project. The project's main manager revealed that the remaining building structures are expected to be completed by the end of September, and the project plans to submit a completion acceptance application the following year.
Toray Group is investing and building a high-performance modified resin smart factory in Jiujiang this time. The project is planned in two stages, with a land area of about 60 acres. The estimated total investment is 400 million yuan. The products of the factory will mainly be used in mobile phones, new energy vehicles, and household appliances to utilize its heat insulation, flame retardant, and corrosion resistance functions.
Once the project is completed and put into operation, it will become the only overseas factory of Toray Group that can produce its full range of resin products globally, with an estimated annual capacity ranking among the top of Toray Group's overseas factories. The project is expected to start trial operation in March 2025 and reach full capacity in 2027.
At this point, Toray Group has already set up 12 companies in Guangdong Province, of which 4 are located in Jiujiang. Including the Eastar Resin Foshan project, the four projects Eastar Group has invested in Jiangjiang are all located in the Jiangjiang High-end Equipment and New Material Manufacturing Industrial Park, which is one of the top ten innovation-driven specialty manufacturing parks being developed by Foshan City.
