Holiferm Appoints Coast Southwest to Distribute Biosurfactants in the U.S. and Canada
Coast Southwest has announced that it has been appointed to distribute the Holiferm line of biosurfactants. The two companies have entered into a strategic sales, marketing and distribution agreement covering the U.S. and Canada.
“The addition of Holiferm products to our personal care portfolio underscores our commitment to and leadership in surfactant ingredient technology,” said Joseph C. Cimo, President of Coast Southwest.
Holiferm is a biochemical manufacturer based in Manchester, England, that produces sophorolipids through a natural fermentation process. These surfactants are environmentally friendly and provide an economical alternative to petrochemical-derived ingredients.
Ben Dolman, Founder and CEO of Holiferm, said:“We are excited to be working with Coast Southwest, who have a dynamic, collaborative approach that we believe will accelerate the adoption of biosurfactants in the U.S. and Canadian markets.”
