PPG Partners with SARO/Siccardi to Accelerate Growth in the Italian Powder Coating Market
PPG has announced a strategic partnership with SARO/Siccardi, a leading distributor of powder coatings in Italy. The partnership aims to strengthen PPG's powder coatings distribution network in the Italian market and provide customers with greater access to high-quality products and services.
Gianfranco Corvi, Market Manager, Industrial Coatings, PPG Italy, said: "This partnership with a customer-focused and well-respected industry leader like SARO/Siccardi will help accelerate the growth of PPG's powder coatings business. By combining PPG's position as a global leader in powder coating technology with SARO/Siccardi's deep knowledge and strong presence in the market, we are able to provide our customers in the region with optimal product protection and an efficient powder coating buying experience."
Under the strategic partnership framework, PPG and SARO/Siccardi will work closely with customers to understand their specific needs and provide customized solutions, technical support and competitive pricing.
Justin Epler, General Manager, Industrial Coatings Europe, Middle East and Africa, PPG, said: "We are confident that this partnership will enhance our service offerings to meet the growing demands of the powder coatings market. With our advanced powder coating technology and SARO/Siccardi's extensive distribution network, our Italian customers will be able to enjoy a more comprehensive selection of high-quality products and faster access to our solutions."
"Utilizing PPG's warehouse, laboratory and production facilities in Italy will help us improve customer service and reduce response times," said Roberto Siccardi, General Manager of SARO/Siccardi.
Since 2019, PPG has been working to grow its powder coatings business through strategic partnerships, acquisitions, R&D investments, and capital optimization to expand global capacity and meet the growing demand for more sustainable manufacturing solutions. Powder coatings are usually formulated without the use of solvents that release volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and oversprayed materials can be recycled. PPG is committed to generating 50% of its sales from sustainably superior products and processes by 2030, and powder coating technology is a key part of achieving this goal.
