About Hanyu Pharmaceutical and Yuan Jiancheng:

Hanyu Pharmaceutical is a leading pharmaceutical company listed in Shenzhen, focusing on the peptide drug industry. Since its IPO in 2011, it has gained significant influence in the global peptide pharmaceutical field. The actual controlling party is the Zeng family’s "three brothers."

Yuan Jiancheng was a core member of Hanyu's management team and served as president, responsible for daily operations. He worked at the company for 17 years, from April 2002 to July 2019, during which he oversaw critical stages of the company's IPO and business development. In 2019, Yuan abruptly resigned, and that same year, Hanyu reported a net loss of 885 million yuan, with revenue dropping to 614 million yuan.

On July 21, 2021, Yuan voluntarily reported to public security and was detained the same day. He was arrested on August 24 and held at the Nanshan District detention center in Shenzhen. Yuan has returned 36.34 million yuan to the company. Numerous rumors about disputes between companies and executives circulate in society, many of which are thought-provoking stories.
