Covestro Appoints Monique Buch as New Chief Commercial Officer
Covestro is pleased to announce that Monique Buch (50) has been appointed as the company's new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). This appointment has been unanimously approved by Covestro's Supervisory Board, and Buch will officially take over the position from Sucheta Govil on June 1, 2025. Sucheta Govil has served as Covestro's CCO since 2019, and her consecutive terms will conclude on July 31, 2025.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Buch will have full responsibility for the company’s solutions and specialty chemicals business segment, leading the six divisions under this sector and managing the supply chain centers across three major regions.
Buch was born in the Netherlands and holds a background in industrial engineering and management. Before joining Covestro, she served as the Executive Vice President of the non-woven business at Lenzing AG. Prior to that, she held senior management positions in several international B2B companies, including Freudenberg Performance Materials and Owens Corning.
