Overview: Following an application submitted by Kandelium Group GmbH on November 5, 2024, the European Commission has decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on barium carbonate from China and India. The product falls under the EU Combined Nomenclature (CN) code ex 2836 60 00 (TARIC code 2836 60 00 10).
Investigation Timeline:
- Dumping Investigation Period: October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024
- Injury Investigation Period: January 1, 2021, to the end of the dumping investigation period
- Expected Preliminary Determination: Within 7 months, no later than 8 months.
