Fiabila launches professional UV Gel concept integrated into nail art concept
Inspired by professionals and consumers, backed by science, internal research and Fiabila’s unconditional commitment to safety for all, including the prevention of allergy risks, the French supplier’s new UV Gel concept has won a 100% satisfaction rate among consumers.
Its formula consists mainly of oligomers and monomers selected from the least allergenic monomers. Oligomers are irreversible combinations of monomers. Unlike smaller monomers, their size limits their ability to penetrate into the skin.
Fiabila has thus taken an important step forward by launching a professional and highly effective UV Gel concept that reduces overall exposure to sensitizers when integrated into the classic nail art routine – base coat, 2nd UV Gel application, top coat.
"This progress is the result of a unique two-year study conducted in our R&D laboratories. We interviewed practitioners and consumers directly to assess their views and observations on the sensitizing properties of UV gel polishes. They are faced with this issue. We conducted an extensive study of all formulation options based on scientific, toxicological and regulatory studies until we identified the key role of oligomers in reducing exposure to allergenic materials. Of course, we kept in mind our obligation to deliver professional results," Fiabila said in a statement.
Fiabila was founded in 1977 by Pierre Miasnik and has been led by Filippo Manucci as Chairman and CEO since March 2024. The company has more than 500 employees worldwide, of which 55 are dedicated to R&D, located in 10 plants in 6 countries: France, Poland, India, Japan, the United States and Brazil. Fiabila is a member of the Global Compact program and is rated EcoVadis Platinum.
