BASF Raises MDI Prices by $300/Ton
On January 7, 2025, BASF announced that, effective immediately under contractual terms, it will implement a price adjustment for Lupranate® MDI (Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate) MS series products in the ASEAN and South Asian regions, with a specific increase of $300 per ton.
This price adjustment is based on the company's consideration for sustainable business development, as well as the ongoing rise in transportation, energy, and regulatory costs. BASF emphasized that this decision is necessary to ensure the long-term stable development of its business.
