EU Imposes Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese Titanium Dioxide at €0.25-€0.74

On January 9, 2025, the European Commission officially announced a final anti-dumping ruling on titanium dioxide (TiO2) originating from China. According to the ruling, the products involved will be subject to anti-dumping duties ranging from €0.25 to €0.74 per kilogram, with specific rates detailed in an attached list. The CN (Combined Nomenclature) codes for the products involved are ex 2823 00 00 and 3206 11 00 (TARIC codes are 2823 00 00 10, 2823 00 00 30, 3206 11 00 10, and 3206 11 00 30). The period for this anti-dumping investigation is from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023, while the damage investigation period began on January 1, 2020, and continued until the end of the anti-dumping investigation period. This announcement will take effect the day after its release.


Previously, the European Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation on Chinese titanium dioxide on November 13, 2023, and made a preliminary anti-dumping ruling on July 11, 2024.
