Nexeo Plastics Signs Agreement with Shell Polymers to Distribute Polyethylene Products in North America
Nexeo Plastics, a leading global distributor of thermoplastic resins, has reached an agreement with Shell Polymers to distribute a wide range of its high-density polyethylene (HDPE) injection and blow molding grades and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) film grades in the United States and Canada starting January 1, 2025.
“We are excited about our partnership with Shell Polymers, which will enhance our ability to deliver high-quality polyethylene solutions to key industries such as healthcare, packaging and consumer goods. This collaboration enables us to offer materials that deliver durability, compliance and processing efficiency,” said Kurt Schuering, President and CEO of Nexeo Plastics.
Shell Polymers offers a wide range of polyethylene materials that are engineered to meet specific performance requirements for a variety of applications, ensuring optimal processing. Due to their versatile properties and adaptability in different manufacturing processes, they focus on creating solutions that meet the unique needs of customers in healthcare, industrial packaging, consumer goods, agriculture, construction and more.
Each grade is carefully engineered to meet specific functional, regulatory and cost requirements. Shell Polymers’ polyethylene grades are strategically positioned to effectively serve these broad markets by meeting a variety of performance needs including chemical resistance, flexibility, durability and regulatory compliance.
