India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duties on Five Chinese Products Including Aluminum Foil, Trichloroisocyanuric Acid
India imposed anti-dumping duties on five Chinese products this month, including soft ferrite cores, vacuum insulated bottles, aluminum foil, trichloroisocyanuric acid and polyvinyl chloride paste resin.
- A temporary tariff of up to $873 per ton was imposed on aluminum foil for six months.
- Trichloroisocyanuric acid used in water treatment was subject to tariffs of $276 to $986 per ton.
- Soft ferrite cores (used in electric vehicles, chargers and telecommunications equipment) were subject to tariffs of up to 35% of CIF (cost, insurance and freight).
- Anti-dumping duties of $1,732 per ton were imposed on vacuum insulated bottles.
- Duties of $89 to $707 per ton were imposed on polyvinyl chloride paste resin imported from China, South Korea, Malaysia, Norway, Taiwan and Thailand.
