Fujian's first PDH project was officially put into production! Zhongjing Petrochemical deploys 100 billion industrial chain
On May 28, the first propane dehydrogenation project of Zhongjing Petrochemical, Fujian Province, with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan, was officially put into operation in Jiangyin Gangcheng Economic Zone, Fuqing City, marking the China Flexible Packaging Group Fujian Zhongjing Petrochemical Co., Ltd. in the field of new chemical materials. New breakthroughs have been made and the entire industrial chain has been fully integrated, which not only effectively fills the gaps in the province’s propane dehydrogenation projects, but also provides important raw material guarantees for the province’s olefin chemical industry, and helps Fuqing speed up the construction of Jiangyin’s 100 billion-level new chemical industry. The material zone has far-reaching influence and great significance.
As a key project in the special action to support leading major industries in Fuzhou, the Sinojing Petrochemical Propane Dehydrogenation Project has introduced Honeywell UOP technology from the United States and is one of the largest single-set devices in the world today. After the project is put into operation, it will achieve an annual output of 750,000 tons of propylene and 50,000 tons of hydrogen, with an annual output value of 8 billion yuan. After it is put into operation, it can boost the industrial chain by 20 billion yuan.
As a leading petrochemical company in the province, Zhongjing Petrochemical is currently the only BOPP company in the world with a complete industrial chain from propane terminal to propane, propylene, polypropylene, and polypropylene film, and has the title of "World Film King". At the same time, the company closely connects the five different industries of port, energy, chemical industry, plastics, and flexible packaging to form an efficient agglomeration market competitiveness. It is also the only private petrochemical enterprise in Fujian Province that uses energy as its raw material.
Zhongjing Petrochemical will form a 100 billion industrial chain
At present, the first phase of the Fuqing Jiangyin Zhongjing Petrochemical Science and Technology Park has been put into production, with a total investment of 18 billion yuan and an output value of 30 billion yuan; the second phase of the project under construction, with a total investment of 16 billion yuan and a total output value of 70 billion yuan, will be in 2023. The project will be completed and put into production in batches one by one; the third phase of the project will have a total investment of 18 billion yuan, and will use the by-product hydrogen as a raw material to further extend the industrial chain and achieve an output value of 50 billion yuan. By then, Zhongjing Petrochemical Science and Technology Park will achieve the goal of over 100 billion yuan in pure manufacturing output value, and make greater contributions to Fujian's all-round promotion of high-quality development and beyond, and the construction of "Fuzhou on the Sea".
