Beautypro Acquires Skin Sapiens, Strengthens Expansion Strategy
Beautypro, a British beauty brand, has acquired British skincare brand Skin_Sapiens for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition is designed to drive Beautypro into a new phase of expansion, with Skin Sapiens focusing on natural, fragrance-free skincare designed for sensitive skin, further enriching Beautypro's product portfolio.
Founded by James Jardella in 2017, Skin Sapiens is known for its transparent ingredient philosophy, sustainable packaging and comprehensive product range. The brand has a strong and loyal customer base with a high repurchase rate of 43% and has achieved six-figure revenues through its sales performance in national retailers. "Despite limited marketing investment in the near term, the brand still maintains strong growth potential thanks to its solid supply chain and plans to enter the sun care and hair care categories," Beautypro said in a press release.
Beautypro plans to invest significantly in the Skin Sapiens brand, focusing on expanding its distribution, refining its digital marketing strategy and entering new global markets.
Ibs Ansari, Managing Director of Beautypro, said: "This acquisition reflects our clear growth strategy of targeted acquisitions of innovative, founder-led brands. We believe Skin Sapiens has excellent growth potential and aligns perfectly with our values of sustainability, efficacy and consumer-first solutions."
"We have also invested in a new headquarters, which has become the new home for the business. With over 14,000 square feet of warehousing and office space, the new headquarters is designed to support our growing team and will serve as a creative hub to nurture these brands and drive further innovation. We look forward to working closely with James and his team to realize the brand's full potential." he added.
