Glenmark Surges 63 Percent in Q4 Revenue with Europe as Breakout Growth Driver
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has reported a 63% year-on-year revenue spike in Q4 FY2025, hitting ₹3,738 crore, powered primarily by exceptional growth in Europe and the performance of its continuing operations. This marked a sharp recovery from the previous year’s same quarter, when the company earned ₹2,292 crore.
The Europe business grew 44.7%, reaching ₹817 crore, as Glenmark capitalized on market opportunities and improved product performance across the continent. Even excluding the impact of its divested subsidiary, Glenmark Life Sciences, continuing operations alone contributed to a 25.5% rise in consolidated revenue.
The company also saw a dramatic jump in profitability. Net profit soared to ₹1,146 crore from a mere ₹113 crore the year before, largely attributed to a ₹930 crore gain from the sale of Glenmark Life Sciences. Meanwhile, R&D investments were trimmed to ₹201 crore, representing 5.4% of revenue, as the company sharpened its focus on cost optimization.
Management emphasized ongoing efforts to delever the balance sheet, while also highlighting the strong performance in both regulated and semi-regulated markets. Glenmark’s recent momentum, especially in Europe, signals a strategic shift that could redefine its global positioning in the near future.
