400 Million Dollar LNG Deal UAE’s ADNOC Gas Secures Three-Year Supply Pact with Germany’s SEFE
Germany’s state-owned SEFE has signed a three-year LNG supply contract worth approximately $400 million with ADNOC Gas, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. Starting this summer, ADNOC Gas will deliver 700,000 tons of LNG annually to SEFE, sourced from its 6-million-ton-per-year Das Island facility.
This agreement marks a significant deepening of UAE-Germany energy ties and reflects both companies’ commitment to expanding their global reach and fortifying long-term partnerships. SEFE highlighted that the deal builds on the 2022 UAE-Germany Energy Security and Industry Accelerator Agreement (ESIA), as well as ADNOC’s ongoing LNG supply collaborations with major German energy firms.
The move further strengthens energy security for Germany while broadening ADNOC Gas’s influence in the international LNG market.
