10.5km Propylene Pipeline Goes Live at Sinochem Lianyungang First Ship Unloading Completed Ahead of Schedule
Sinochem’s new 10.5-kilometer propylene pipeline at the Lianyungang Circular Economy Industrial Park is now operational, with the inaugural shipment successfully unloaded. This “new artery” connects Sinochem’s terminal, storage, and Yangnong Ruiheng, offering dual-direction shipping for both direct sourcing and outbound delivery.
In the C3 (carbon three) value chain, propylene serves as both a feedstock and end product, with daily throughput exceeding 1,000 tons. The project was launched in September 2024 and completed six months ahead of plan, aiming to reduce costs, boost operational flexibility, and optimize resource allocation.
The early commissioning of this pipeline marks a major step in strengthening Sinochem’s supply chain resilience and competitive edge.
