Pirelli H1 Revenue Hits €3.5 Billion Net Income Up 14 Percent High-Value Tire Sales Surge to 80 Percent

ECHEMI 2025-08-17

On July 31, Pirelli reported first-half 2025 results with revenue reaching €3.499 billion, reflecting a solid organic growth rate of 4.4%. Adjusted EBIT climbed to €558 million, up €19.2 million from the previous year, pushing the EBIT margin to 16.0% (vs. 15.6% last year). This improvement, driven by internal efficiencies, nearly offset headwinds from FX volatility, higher raw material costs, inflation, and new US tariffs effective May 3.

Net income soared 14.1% to €264 million, compared to €231 million a year earlier. Q2 alone saw revenue of €1.74 billion, with organic growth at 4.0% despite a slight 0.7% year-on-year decline in euro terms.

Pirelli’s high-value strategy continues to pay off—premium and performance tire sales now account for 80% of total revenue, up from 77% last year. The company credits its success to innovation and tailored product offerings, further reinforcing its leadership in the luxury and high-performance tire segments.
