Sinochem and Dongfeng Ink Strategic Pact in Beijing to Supercharge Automotive Innovation and Supply Chain
On August 14, Sinochem and Dongfeng Motor Corporation signed a major strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing, witnessed by top executives from both state-owned giants. The partnership is designed to leverage each company’s strengths and foster breakthroughs in technology, supply chains, and integrated vehicle solutions.
The agreement commits both sides to mutual benefit and practical results, focusing on science-driven innovation, industrial resilience, and holistic mobility strategies. Sinochem and Dongfeng will act as both “problem setters and solvers” for each other, aiming to accelerate new material development, boost supply chain robustness, and drive green, low-carbon transformation across China’s automotive and chemical sectors.
Executives from Sinochem’s energy, chemical, and equipment divisions as well as Dongfeng’s business and functional leaders attended the signing, underscoring the high-level commitment to this collaboration. The move is set to provide strong momentum for the deep integration and high-quality upgrade of China’s new materials and automotive industries.
