Givaudan Breaks Ground on New Fragrance Factory in Guangzhou

Givaudan, a leading global fragrance and beauty company, celebrates the groundbreaking of its new factory in Guangzhou, marking another important milestone in supporting the growth of its fragrance business in high-growth markets, in partnership with local and regional customers.

 

The new factory, located on approximately 30,000 square meters of recently acquired land, will include a creative center housing evaluation, marketing, sales, and application teams, as well as creative perfumers and fragrance analysts. The facility will also include a highly automated production facility to support the rapid and decentralized expansion of Givaudan's fragrance business in China.

 

The factory will utilize state-of-the-art environmental, health, and safety (EHS) solutions, reflecting the company's unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of its employees and partners. Approximately 150 highly motivated employees will relocate from the existing site to the new facility over a two-year period.
