CN New Energy and BTR Sign Over 10 Billion Yuan Anode Material Deal to Accelerate Battery Innovation
On August 15, CN New Energy and BTR (Shanshan Technology) sealed a strategic partnership at CN’s global headquarters, with an anode materials procurement agreement exceeding 10 billion yuan in total value. Leveraging BTR’s 26 years of expertise and leading R&D capabilities, the company will mobilize all resources to ensure top-notch quality and reliable supply for CN New Energy’s growth.
The two companies will collaborate closely in two high-impact areas: high/low temperature and fast-charging anodes for power batteries, as well as high-capacity, long-cycle anodes for energy storage. By joining forces, they aim to achieve significant technological breakthroughs and drive industry upgrades.
CN New Energy emphasized that this agreement is a crucial step in strengthening the company’s supply chain resilience, paving the way for further innovation and expansion in the battery sector.
