Lianolong Bets Big on Electronic Adhesives with $50M Strategic Stake in Sidofu
In a bold step toward deepening its presence in high-tech materials, Lianolong announced on November 27, 2025, a RMB 50 million ($~7M) strategic investment in Shenzhen Sidofu New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. The deal grants Lianolong a 25% equity stake in Sidofu, which now holds a post-investment valuation of RMB 2 billion (~$280M). Sidofu specializes in advanced electronic adhesives—critical yet often overlooked components in semiconductor packaging, OLED displays, and EV battery systems. Notably, the company is one of the few Chinese firms mastering anisotropic conductive films (ACF) and nanoimprint resins, technologies long dominated by Japanese and Korean suppliers. Lianolong sees powerful synergy: its own electronic-grade polyimide (PI) business, acquired via the Korean firm IPITECH, shares core R&D competencies with Sidofu in resin synthesis and formulation chemistry. With overlapping client bases across FPC/PCB and display manufacturers, the partnership could accelerate domestic substitution of imported specialty materials.
