Double Benefits: Aniline Market Rises Multiple Times
January 16th, News
I. Price Trends
According to the commodity market analysis system, the Aniline market in China has risen multiple times since entering January. On January 1st, the price of Aniline in China was 7,945 CNY per ton, and by January 16th, it had increased to 8,437 CNY per ton, representing a 6.2% increase over the period. Compared to the same period last year, the price has fallen by 7.02%.
II. Analysis and Commentary
In January, the supply of Aniline in the Chinese market remained tight, with stable operations at Aniline factories and steady downstream demand. The price of raw material pure benzene rose significantly due to the increase in crude oil prices. Supported by low inventory levels and the rise in raw material costs, Aniline prices were adjusted upward multiple times. Mid-month, prices continued to rise slightly, but with already high prices, further increases faced greater resistance.
Cost aspect: The price of pure benzene has risen significantly recently. The deterioration of the situation in the Middle East has pushed up crude oil prices, and the strong rise in downstream styrene has driven up the demand for pure benzene, leading to an active increase in the pure benzene market in China.
III. Future Market Outlook
The current aniline market in China is stable, with downstream buyers showing less willingness to purchase high-priced raw materials. It is expected that the aniline market will consolidate after a short-term increase. Closely monitor changes in raw materials and supply and demand in the future.
