Up to 4500 yuan! The chemical giant sent out a price increase letter madly!

▶▶ On July 26, Mitsubishi Chemical announced that it would increase the price of bisphenol A (BPA) from August 20 by more than 20 yen/kg (about 1176 CNY/ton).

On the same day, Mitsubishi Chemical also announced that it will increase the prices of Acetone, methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) and diacetone alcohol (DAA) from August 20. Among them, the increase of acetone is more than 19 yen/kg (about 1117 CNY/ton), and the increase of MIBK and DAA is more than 24 yen/kg (about 1411 CNY/ton).

▶▶ Also on July 26, KH Co., Ltd., another large-scale acetone producer in Japan, announced that it will increase the price of various chemicals produced by the company from August 1. The price-increasing products and their increases are as follows:

Carbonyl (octanol, octanol 900, nonanol, butanol, isobutanol, isobutyl ACETATE, caprylic acid, isononanoic acid, butyraldehyde, isobutyraldehyde, Kyowazol C-800, Kyowazol C600M, Kyowazol-M, ten Triol) rose more than 20 yen/kg (about 1176 CNY/ton);
Acetone type (acetone, acetone-P) 16 yen/kg (about 882 CNY/ton) or more;
Diacetone alcohol (DAA) and methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) are more than 21 yen/kg (about 1234 CNY/ton);
Butyl acetate type (Buchicel acetate, Butycernol 20 acetate) is 76 yen/kg (about 4467 CNY/ton) or more;
Diols (octanediol, butyl ethyl propylene glycol, Kyowa Glycol PD-9) are more than 20%.
In addition, we plan to separately increase the prices of other small-volume sales items.

▶▶ On July 24, Kawasaki Chemical increased the price of anhydrous phthalic anhydride by more than 15 yen/kg (about 882 CNY/ton) from August 2. The main applications of this product are plasticizers, pigments, coatings and polyester resins.
