The purchase price of chemical raw materials rose 18.2% year-on-year in July.
Statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics show that in July this year, the national factory prices for industrial producers rose 9% year-on-year and 0.5% month-on-month; the purchasing prices for industrial producers rose 13.1% year-on-year and 0.9% month-on-month.
First, judging from the year-on-year changes in the prices of industrial producers, among the ex-factory prices of industrial producers, the prices of means of production rose by 12%, affecting the overall increase in the ex-factory prices of industrial producers by approximately 8.95 percentage points. Among them, the price of mining and quarrying industry increased by 38.7%, the price of raw material industry increased by 17.9%, and the price of processing industry increased by 7.5%.
Among the purchasing prices of industrial producers, the price of fuel and power rose by 23.3%, and the price of chemical raw materials rose by 18.2%.
Second, from the month-on-month changes in the prices of industrial producers, among the ex-factory prices of industrial producers, the price of means of production increased by 0.6%, which affected the overall increase of the ex-factory prices of industrial producers by about 0.5%. Among them, the price of mining and quarrying industry rose by 5.2%, the price of raw material industry rose by 0.8%, and the price of processing industry rose by 0.1%.
Among the purchasing prices of industrial producers, the price of fuel and power rose by 3.2%, and the price of chemical raw materials rose by 0.9%.
