China Sodium Metabisulfite Price Trend
According to the commodity market analysis system, the price of sodium metabisulfite in China increased this week. The average price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite at the beginning of the week was 3,983 CNY per ton, and by the end of the week, it was 3,986 CNY per ton, representing a price increase of 0.08%.
This week, the market price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite (96.5% content) in China increased. The price of soda ash, an upstream raw material for sodium metabisulfite, decreased by 0.96%, while the price of sulfur increased by 0.9%. Driven by the rise in upstream raw material costs, environmental production limits leading to tight supply, and the release of downstream demand, the overall price remains at a relatively high level historically.
